riding with the ladies

we took the girls and their cousin trevor out riding this past saturday. it was a bit cold {a brisk 35 or so} but they didn't seem to care. jordan and jess have been riding for several years and this is josie's first year. she did awesome, like a duck to water. she was a little timid at first but then once she realized she could hang with the big girls, there was nothing holding her back. she was even going over some really big hills. she kept telling us to follow her and she would take us on the trail and over the hills. i think it pleased her to be the one in charge and the leader of the pack! we stayed for a couple of hours but then had to come home as we were all frozen. now we just need some nicer, warmer weather so we can go again.
