playing with my lens

so- since we live in the middle of nowhere and i have no one handy to teach me how to correctly use my new lens,

i've just been walking around looking for stuff to take pictures of.

not too sure about this whole macro thing.

so if you've got any pointers, give me a shout out.

probably doesn't help there really isn't much to photograph in the dead of winter {oh wait, it is still officially fall}!

so i give you my futile attempt at it.

be kind on your comments {if you have any} as i am fragile...
