krista and i got up at 3am {no you didn't read that wrong} to head to a photography workshop. we were hoping to catch a beautiful sunrise {obviously this didn't happen} but were able to do some cool stuff anyway. lets just say the weather was less than desirable.... it was rainy, cold and the wind was blowing pretty fierce. the guy that lead our class was
alot of fun {in the end}. he started out kind of serious, but if you spend any amount of time with me {in a good way} you end up goofy! he has a gallery in
depoe bay and his work is AMAZING! his website is
www.naturerevealed.com {check it out}. he taught us a lot of techniques and i actually used my camera in manual mode {something i have never done before}! i took some cool shots, but silly me who is not normally out shooting pictures in blowing rain forgot to wipe off my lens before some of my shots {so you just have to appreciate them with the rain drops}. bottom line was that we learned
alot about taking pictures and all the details that go with, but mostly it was a great time spent with two great friends!
