just a couple recent pictures of our garden. it's really taken off. so much in fact that i added a pond thingy {it was FREE} and put my honeydew melons and cantaloupes in it. i am so excited that it is actually growing!!
the sweet life on the sweet life!
my sweet friend mary made this for me. i've been trying to decided how to decorate the wall in my entry way for sometime now and then an idea came to me.... why not put the name of this here blog with pictures of the very things that make my life sweet! i haven't had a chance yet to add the photos, but i'm searching my collections trying to find the right ones. so, i'll keep ya updated on my progress!
end of preschool celebration
this past thursday was josie's last day of pre school and we spent it at a classmates beautiful home. the kids played and enjoyed a snack and then gave their last hugs to miss tammy and miss susy {who i must add are the most WONDERFUL ladies in this world}! they each received a treat bag, famous preschool cookbook and an awesome scrapbook with all the fun things they did though out the year. it always breaks your heart when you first take you little one to their first day of school, they are so little, shy and unsure of what is to come and by the last day of school, they are totally different- outgoing, confident and ready to take on the world {or at least my kid}. the teachers at BPLS are such amazing people. they not only teach your child, but they offer so much more- love, compassion, respect and fun memories. all the girls have had miss tammy and miss susy and i am so thankful they were able to spend time with such wonderful people. thanks for a wonderful school year!!!

camping, again
jess doing cookies {and creating quite a dust storm}
our small commune { i think there were about 25 campers and probably close to 75 people}
the ladies taking a lunch and photo break
our fire one evening
this past weekend we went camping again, but this time we camped just outside of the bull prairie area. it's always so much fun going, but boy is it alot of work. you get all ambitious when you are packing, oh we need this and that and oh this would be cool to bring, you get there and unload all your crap {for lack of a better word} and then the day you are leaving and packing back up, you think to yourself... why in the world do we bring so much stuff??? it's camping for goodness sakes! aside from it being really dusty, the weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy some riding {even though it was almost too dusty}. the girls had a blast as there were kids everywhere. jordan even slept in a tent with some girls she knew from school. i'm so thankful that we have the motorhome and the ability to load up and enjoy the mountains. hopefully our kids will look back and remember all the times we went camping. now we just have a couple of days off then we are off to the coast for a little fun there too!

happy 4th josie jade
so i am a little behind the times with my blogging {sorry}.... this past sunday was our littlest one's big number 4! we celebrated it in the mountains {per her request}! she had an awesome time hanging out with her sisters and some family friends. we brought a pinata up with us and even had cake and ice cream. her highlight though was getting her very own pink ipod! i can't believe that she is four already, before you know it she'll be 18! so happy birthday my little one, we all love you very much!
